• ★ THUNDERCLAN LEAD WARRIOR LITTER
  Sunfreckle was born Sunny and was a shelter cat his entire life, when he escaped he nearly died alone in the wilderness until Rabbitnose (then Rabbit) came across him and saved his life. The two immediately grew close, living together and helping one another and eventually joining ThunderClan as it was newly forming; without any real discussion they became mates and are extremely devoted to one another.
  
  After Little Wolf's own, they brought in one of ThunderClan's first litters that sadly started with tragedy, losing a kit early to sickness and then later a newly apprenticed one to two-legs, but despite this the small family continued to perserver and thrive in their home. Sunfreckle was eventually made a lead warrior, joining Howlingstar's council much to his surprise and despite his hesitance has offered whatever aid and assistance he can with his clan; his apprehension on holding the wrong soothed by Rabbitnose's encouragement. Their first litter is 10 moons, soon to be made warriors and they were in discussion for having another after the fact, but well...
  Things changed and Sunfreckle is carrying their next set before both were fully prepared for it. Unfortunatley his unease at returning to the nursery born by a sense of inferiority and a broiling rage at RiverClan's arrogance as they once again trespassed on Sunningrocks led to Sunfreckle being injured and putting him and the unborn kits into the medicine cat den and then the nursery far earlier than he meant.
  
  Neither parent nor their clan's medicine cat are sure as to the status of the kits, from how many of them there are to if they are even okay...

    • Since I am so picky I hold the right to cancel this litter entirely if none of the applicants fit what I'm looking for! This is not a judgement on the app or me saying they aren't 'good' because ya'll are all amazing writers and character designers! This is just an important litter for me and I'm looking for something that fits it perfectly.
  • Genetics are supplied as well as a namelist, please follow the guidelines on both!
    • For the namelist we are open to anything so long as it fits the 'vibe'!
  • These kittens will be ThunderClanners and raised in ThunderClan by loving parents who are especially doting and affectionate.
    • Loyalty to ThunderClan and traditional mindsets are recommended!
  • Sunfreckle was born with a malformed leg that was amputated at a shelter as a kit but despite this we would prefer the kits not be born with any physical disabilities. Things that develop as they grow, however, are fine but be respectful please.

  • The kits will be born on 6/25/23and playable at 1 moons old to avoid any weird age issues with the first litter!
    • First month activity as a result won't be strictly monitored!

—— living island. named for his striking chimera fur. grows into a vibrant personality to match. longhaired blue tortoiseshell - and - red tabby tom with high white and crystaline eyes. rainbowkit is an odd thing at birth, sporting a pale, willowy form save the peekings of color atop their head and tail. sunburst stripes delicately cradle their cheeks, giving the appearance of a warm sun fading into the expanse of a clouded neck. Blue tabby fur crowns their forehead, dull in tone compared to bright, sky - blue eyes framed by long whiskers. The warmth of their face accentuates a serene smile and carefree laugh, eyes creasing with its brightness. they're sensitive – but they try not to let it show. prism light on their face rarely sees the light of day thereafter, save for smatterings of the rainbow along the top of their tail. as they age, they will grow into a handsome face and taller form, lean - built, unlike the sheer size of their father. may later develop vitiligo.

pos: good - natured, quick - witted, observant, affectionate. neu: easygoing, curious. neg: lazy, distant, disinterested. big brother mentor. —— happy is the man who wants nothing. through and through, rainbowkit is a people person – to the point where matters extending conflicts between small groups of cats seem unimportant to them, altogether. for a friend in need, rainbowkit will lay beside them, offering a comforting shoulder and word to the best of their ability. to conflicts outside of that, rainbowkit is bored. head lain across stone, blue eyes foggy and half - mast as the important people deal with it for him. it is not as if rainbowkit finds these issues silly or unimportant — they take to clan values in the most general sense. border patrols are left respectful, no more, no less. the higher - ups who make those decisions for the rest of them are doing good, really. rainbowkit would rather not be dedicated to all that themself, though. at times, this can be frustrating, as it often seems they hardly talk about anything important at all, often dodging bigger subjects with talks about life or unimportant, silly questions for the sake of it. it will all work out. may be their motto. so what, as long as you're here? rainbowkit is not very proactive in any sense, to the chagrin of some.

outwardly, rainbowkit is defined by easy smiles and nonsense questions. mentally, they try to be little more than that. living in the moment, is something they subscribe to unconsciously, and they get the most joy out of surrounding themselves with kind faces than they do in the material, or useful, really. most of the time, questions will be asked for the sake of a laugh, leading to a joke, or for seeing the person smile as they talk about whatever it is, rather than out of any real interest. deeply and whole affectionate towards family and friends. somewhat protective, may go blank - faced in the presence of someone they know has done bad

m: carries themselves with a seemingly - natural sort of poise. muscles always relaxed and easygoing. tail held a whisker above the ground by default. very big on eye contact, bright blue eyes seem to follow wherever you go​

✦ rainbowkit has less going on story and development - wise compared to most of my characters. for the most part, rainbowkit would be a " feel good " character for me– someone to stretch my muscles with descriptive writing - wise, and who i'd like to mini - experiment with trying to develop various relationships across thunderclan – lots of privs that are just talking, doing, hanging. honestly my biggest desire with them atm would be for them to have a best friend. ofc i'd roll with any ic punches >:).

Despite her hardheadedness, she wears her heart on her pelt, and she inherits her parents' warmth. Highly empathetic and in - tune with others (so she feels), Mushroomkit feels an innate sense of connection to her family, and as she ages this sense of interconnectedness extends to Thunderclan, and eventually the land around them and Starclan. Despite her outward appearance of self - assuredness, she'll be likely to deeply question the meaning of their lives and Starclan, and struggle with an immense fear of losing her family. Though she would never say that, her wide - eyed and moonstruck gaze are likely to betray her. The bulk of her warmth and softheartedness will be shown to and shared with her parents and siblings. As a kit, Mushroomkit enjoys a sense of busyness and as she ages the tortie will be dutiful as she has seen their parents be. In spite of her wide - eyedness and intense contemplation, she likes being in the thick of things to keep her wits about her, and she'll grow to become efficient in her tasks and as proficient in her skills as she can be, which leads to a bit of a temper and lack of patience. But despite all her attempts to keep grounded, who knows what it is she really feels..

> taking after sunfreckle, this kitten finds themself with quite the bulky build, even from birth. with broad shoulders and big paws, it's easy to see that they would grow into some sort of powerhouse once they reach their full size. however in youth they display everything but - clumsy as they go, it seems that they are incapable of fully realizing their shoulder width and otherwise. it comes across as cute when they're nothing more than a few moons old, however throughout apprenticeship it seems to become more of an issue.
their pattern is nothing special. predominately blue with swirls and speckles of cream, they are very quickly identified as a diluted tortoiseshell; a proper mix of their parents in that regard. white fur doesn't dominate them like it may some of their siblings, only cupping a single paw as well as their ear tips. additionally, and perhaps oddly enough, their fur comes across as slightly curly and plush - many speculate that it is because they don't groom themselves, often resulting in mats padding out their form. others suggest that it's genetics skipping a generation. in the end, it's unknown in its cause, and they certainly don't mind it.

> while often befitting of the 'lumbering oaf' moniker, they often come across, as well, as a positive presence. constantly smiling and being a shoulder that anyone can lean on is their honest-to-starclan only goal in life. they find it a bit hard to grasp more difficult concepts such as death, sadness, et cetera and find it far easier to attempt to look past them. this isn't to say that they're ignorant by any means - in fact, they can be very intuitive. instead it is to say that they attempt to forego much of their own trauma and issues in favor of supporting others around them; for better, or for worse.
much of their personality will be built around the clan at the time of inception; as it is, i can absolutely see them as a positive presence from kithood into apprenticeship, albeit with bumps in the road as is normal. i don't see them having anything close to an 'evil streak' nor do i see them really doing anything untoward or problem-causing. at most, they may be molded into the 'gifted child' trope, based on their mature-appearing emotional state from a young age. this is subject to change, of course.

> a short-lived cold causes long term effects; due to the fears of having a second dovekit situation, they are coddled and retained at a young age, perhaps even held back from their apprenticeship for just a bit longer to be safe. this causes them to be a bit off with socializing, believing that constant physical contact is necessary. they can become grouchy or confused when another cat refuses their touch, simply not understanding boundaries in that way (at least, until they're older.)

a longhaired cream tabby and white tom with soft blue eyes
emberkit's appearance is much softer than the coals whose name he bears. the kit's fur is colored a soft sun-touched cream banded with darker stripes in solar shapes; white splashes his belly, neck, muzzle, and the tips of his paws and tail. his eyes are doelike and wide, a clear blue color reminiscent of his father rabbitnose, and almost deerlike in their long lashes. emberkit's fur is thick and lush like his father sunfreckle, if slightly wispier and less dense, and it grows thickest around the kit's belly and most of all his tail, which will be disproportionately large even as a kitten; similar to rabbitnose's before its severance, it is extremely long, and very fluffy to boot. wispy "bangs" grow thick about his face and often fall into his eyes. it is difficult to tell at his young age, but emberkit will grow to be very large, much like sunfreckle, with rabbitnose's lankier build and long legs; when he is older, the kit will likely accessorize himself quite carefully, and may be clumsy and prone to small injuries.

emberkit has inherited much of his family's kindness; the kit is sweet and warm, with a very comforting feeling about him, and he tries to be careful about his manners and will refrain from using foul language as he ages. he loves his family and clan quite dearly, enjoying physical affection, and is extremely loyal to thunderclan as impressed upon him by those around him. he's also seemingly inherited sunfreckle's more motherly personality and will often mother-hen his siblings and friends, functioning as a sort of "mom friend" to those around him as he ages. emberkit will be very careful about his appearance once he's of the age to notice so, and is likely to be drawn to pretty accessories; he will be very enthused if complimented about his appearance and is generally very pleased by praise.

the kit is very innocent and impressionable, even for his age; he is quite easily influenced by those around him and will take everything at face value with little to no concept of manipulation or malicious lying. as he ages into the mantle of apprenticeship, emberkit may struggle with conflict between his desire to serve his clan as a good warrior and his poor attention span; he struggles to pay attention for extended periods of time and will quickly lose interest in things he finds "boring". the tabby tends to become more serious in times of high stress he has yet to experience and take more initiative. emberkit has a mild stutter that will improve with age but resurface in times of high emotion or stress against his will, something that irritates him. emberkit will grow up to love telling and hearing stories as well as nature, and adore "creative" activities and games even when he's older.

PERSONALITY — strange, aloof, and unconcerned. nonchalant in most situations.
↳ the burgeoning personality of crunchykit makes way primarily in their adolescence, nearing apprenticeship. the given excitement and giddiness of a kitten new to the world mellows into something fluid and accepting; no longer do they marvel at the droplets every time it rains, but they take the opportunity to be glad for a chance to nap in peace. in kithood, this chilled behavior is observed as an early-onset sense of maturity — it takes not long for the balance to tip in favor of immaturity when they have the same nonplussed reaction to every disaster, every time.

though most interpret them as an unserious juvenile, they are, in reality, far more mindful than their peers; what has them appear detached is how truly they are lost in thought over each and every dilemma, no matter how big or small it really is. their long-winded explanations and airy, flowery presentation makes listening to their explanations unbearable for the average cat their own age.

DESCRIPTION — a chubby, longhaired red-and-white tabby with olive eyes. [x x]
↳ crunchykit presents with features favoring their matronage, as well as quite a few unique to themself alone. their body itself is strong and stout, and with a heavy layer of fat on their bones granted not from genetics, but a layabout lifestyle met with muscle gain from the rigorous training of a warrior-to-be. their fur is coarse and unkempt, with a plush undercoat.

their main pigmentation smears like a bloodstain from their father, sunfreckle; a pelt of ruddy ginger with thick stripes dripping from a darkened ridgeline. from their sire, they were rewarded a varnish of white paint sprawling from their belly upwards, leaving only heavy splotches of the rust beneath visible saddling their spine. their face itself is left half-white from their throat upwards with a defining patch of red on the right mound of a strong-boned muzzle.

APPEARANCE ☀ A long-haired red tabby tom with high white, and blue-green eyes.

✦ An appearance similar to that of his father, Sunfreckle, and his older brother, Sparkpaw, Sunshinekit's bulky form carries thick, flaming locks of fur. Sharp stripes dance across his fur, twisting into rounded cascades on his shoulders and hips, leaving a trace of freckle-like paths between them, as well as across his face. A prominent stripe runs from his forehead to his feathery tail, encapsulated by a mid-tone between dark stripes and lighter fur.

White displays itself a little more prominently on Sunshinekit than his father or brother, though remains in a similar fashion - on his stomach and chest, his face and tail, and his paws. However, snow-tinted fur finds itself stretched further than his paws as it covers his legs as well, stopping in the middle of his joints. Alabaster also paints the tips of Sunshinekit's ears.

Sunshinekit's markings are mostly symmetrical, except for his back left leg. It's as if carmine bled past where it was meant to - as if someone colored outside of the lines - as white only inhibits the tip of his toes, a small splotch above that.

The tom's eyes are a pale shade of seafoam green, an in-between state of his parents' own. His nose and ears also hold a paleness to them in their pink coloring.

PERSONALITY ☀ (Work in Progress!) Although a warm and kind-hearted tom, those in ThunderClan may typically see Sunshinekit as the 'annoying little brother' of Sunfreckle and Rabbitnose's first litter.

The tom looks up to his older siblings greatly, and, especially as a kit, the tom will aim to seek inclusion among the apprentices, and later the warriors, as his older siblings gain their names. Sunshinekit dreams of becoming a warrior, and is often one to wish he'd grow up faster - an aspiration that causes some frustration for him. As a young apprentice will push himself into his training in hopes of earning his warrior name sooner.

Kindness is seen often in a helping-paw from the tom - if one needs aid around the camp, he is typically among the first to appear, whether they need it or not.

Full-grown, she will stand as a gentle giant, kitten fluff giving way to a well-muscled form capable of . A swirl of brown and orange, her pelt heavily broken up by a smattering of white, leaving her with only patches of striped fur, particularly around the top half of her face, most of her tail, and along her back. Her legs and most of her body are swallowed in white, which may creep further across her body in time thanks to her inherited vitiligo. Striking copper eyes adorn Lightningkit, and are often seen crinkling from a smile.
