WHEN YOU AND SLEEP ESCAPE ME \ apr pre-gathering chatter

Antlerpaw sticks close to her mentor as they travel to gatherings. Perhaps a bonus to being the leader's mentor was that you got to often visit the gatherings, but even so, it was a labor of love. She slept so hard when she returned, and even now some of the exhaustion tugged at still-young muscles. Ears twitched as they arrived alongside Skyclan, and she watched as her clanmates swept off. Her vision shifted towards Howlingstar, then towards Orangestar.

Antlerpaw straightened a bit. She had groomed herself before they left, but she still checked to ensure that there wasn't a tuft of fur sticking out of place. Her head dipped. "Hello." She managed. Okay, that was a hint awkward, but that was okay, she could recover. Eyes shifted across the gathering- pausing upon an apprentice she thinks is from Riverclan who was looking at them, perhaps specifically Howlinstar?- then back towards Orangestar. "Um. How are you?" She questioned, head tilting gently in question.

♪ Like a moth to a flame ♪ ---- Mothfur was excited to bring his first apprentice to their first gathering; However, with their current injury, it was better for poor Dustpaw to stay in camp. It hurt him to see the young cat to be so hurt at such a young age, it messed with him so much that it was visibly weighing on him. He stalked over to join his clanmates, abnormally quiet, deep in thought. His head hung low while his steps drew dirt from beneath his paws. All he could hope for was a smooth recovery for Dustpaw and how well training would go for the both of them in the near future.
