On a drizzly greenleaf morning, the ground wet after a heavy rainfall, a passing patrol hears something that gives them pause. In the distance– mewling. Weak, plaintive cries, clearly begging for someone, anyone, to notice them. They investigate. How could they not? What they're met with is a heart-plummeting sight. Near a location frequented by Twolegs lies a wet box, quite like a den made of wood but caving in and smelling vaguely of rot. A touch is all it takes for it to crinkle inwards. The panicked cries grow louder. Desperate. Clawing their way into the den, the patrol finds the smell of rotten twoleg food, the chunky wet slop these kittens are clearly too young to eat, and several squirming bodies.
Some cold heart had abandoned these kits, and it's clear that the entire litter is weak. One of them barely moves, even with the others jostling it around.
Sire: LH black w/ low white (carrying cinnamon, dilute)
Dam: SH fawn silver rosette tabby w/ low white (carrying longhair, solid, non-silver)

➊ These kits are not FCFS! The choosing date will be loosely June 14th, 2024. Though that may move closer depending on how impatient I am. There will be warning of any change with time to finish applications. ➋ Kits will follow both realistic genetics and realistic worm-time aging. They will be intro'd about two days after choosing at the age of two weeks old, and age real time from that point forward, without any age jumps. My goal is from as close to birth as I can get, to a good death. ➌ These kits will be raised by an NPC permaqueen if there are no applications! ➍ Leaning into above, please include what sort of family dynamic you're looking for in their bio. This would include both potential relationships with their littermates and the permaqueen that would raise them. ➎ These kits are, relatively at least, a success story! I would prefer there be more happy than sad moments without much death or trauma but in the end these characters will be yours with no takebacks. Whatever you want to do with them, up to and including death, exile, running away, or simply unwriting their existence or putting them on the back shelf for an indeterminate amount of time is fine! There are no activity requirements and I will not rehome them. |
