Warrior life was not that much different than an apprentice's — well. . . he didn't have to do chores anymore like looking for ticks and he could go out of camp whenever he wanted so it was better, but not really that different. Roaringsun was adapting to it just fine, although having to keep his nest in the outer circle of the warriors' den was a bit worrying as the colder seasons approached.

The sun cast a golden glow onto the forest floor, the greenery gradually turning orange and brown as they step into Leaf-fall, a brisk wind ruffling his pelt as the new warrior walked into the clearing. It was mostly empty now as patrols had been sent out to hunt ( stocking up the pile was a good idea ); going alone sounded boring, so he decided to approach. . . Softsight, of course. His first ThunderClan friend.

Soft - sight! He sing-songs as he saunters towards her, friendly bumping into her alabaster pelt with a smile on his maw. D'you wanna go hunting with me?

Softsight's youth had been strange indeed, with her apprenticeship having been slightly delayed by the implementation of a new code, and then her warriorhood having its own ups and downs with the rise of Skyclaw to power. Now that she was a regular, proper warrior, she wasn't sure what to do with herself - so she kept doing as she had, chores here and there, patrols as she was ordered on them by the lead warriors. Everything felt routine again, and Softsight was at the risk of falling into monotony.

Thankfully, she had Roaringsun to prevent that from happening - a kittypet long since proven himself to ThunderClan, Roaringsun had proven to be a worthwhile friend, someone that she could count on when she needed to.

"Of course," Softsight smiles as Roaringsun bumps her, his joy infectious. "Do you have a place in mind? we could always head out towards the Thunderpath." She suggested, looking over her shoulder at the camp's entrance.
