private BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS ࿐ ࿔*:・゚ RC vs TC

࿐ ࿔*:・゚ — The black smoke leads her patrol forward as they try to find anything upon Sunningrocks especially since it seems that the cold has made the water freeze or too chilly to attempt swimming, her ruined ear flicks to the side only to glance over her shoulder at those present. She thinks about how their stomachs begin to growl terribly and to the kittens still within the nursery, her mind dwells on Claythorn for a heartbeat only to shake her head to glance over to the rest of those following her. "Any luck?" She asks dryly to those there only to sweep her gaze over the group and frowns, her paws feel cold against the stones that she steps upon only to tilt her head at the faint sound of scrambling paws. Beefang lowers herself onto the ground only to pounce forward but her claws do not catch anything, she hisses under her breath in frustration and stands upright soon fixing her posture. Her molten gaze turns to the frosted foliage that indicates the start of Thunderclan territory and her stomach growls once more to remind her why they're out here to begin with.

The act of stealing isn't honorable but leaf-bare seems to treat them unfairly despite their hardships so the lead warrior pauses for a long moment only to glance towards her patrol once more and gives a curt nod "Riverclan will eat today. We will bring back prey for the kits, queens, and elders..." She trails off as her pupil narrows into a dangerous slit daring anyone to step out of line or become yellow-bellied in that moment, she continues so those that are not aware of her intentions or what she may be insinuating is understood, "At whatever cost." Her whiskers twitch as she carefully watches for their reactions or the way their jaws twitch, Beefang knows that they wouldn't be better than Thunderclan stealing from Skyclan but at this given heartbeat, she didn't give a single fuck so long as they push through leaf-bare successfully. They'd have warm dens to keep them safe and prey, she would ensure that... even if Lichenstar wouldn't be happy at that aspect, it's a risk that she's willing to take and she'd take the tongue lashing the leader may bring down onto her.

"Keep alert and claws unsheathed." Beefang barks out the order only to briefly glance in the direction of Foxtail as she levels her gaze with her fellow lead warrior, she knows that he doesn't have the backbone to steal and he would be the first to show his belly and yet... a small part of her hopes that he will relent and give in so that his clan would eat tonight. Swallow your honor and feed our home. She wishes to breathe into his ear like a serpent tempting him to commit sin for their own benefit, Beefang turns her attention away only to flick her feathery tail motioning for the others to continue and her claws sink into the earth as she descends from Sunningrocks to stand on Thunderclan territory. Both of her ears angle forward so that she may hear the sound of any approaching Thunderclanners and her snout wrinkles at the smell that lingers near the border, the stench of those oak dwelling rats.

A small part of her wants to dig her teeth (verbally) to Iciclefang and sneer on how she had gotten accustomed to a smell akin to foxdung but she decides to withhold her tongue so that she can focus on their task. Beefang would use her brute force if it meant that her clan could eat and she briefly thinks of Raccoonstripe once more though she doesn't linger on the thought for long as she tries to search the frosted foliage for any sign of prey.

Foxtail trails along after Beefang, exhaling a chilly breath. They head near the Sunningrocks, and he feels thankful that RiverClan won back this patch of land. To his frustration, it is far too cold to take a swim, and most rivers have frozen over. Which, understandably, makes it difficult to fish— but they should find some land prey over at the Sunningrocks, right? He can only hope so.

His paws step onto the cold rocks, and the tom is quick to smell the air. Snow still coats the ground below them, but to his relief... the blizzard that rampaged so violently, died off. He can see the terrain in front of him; can smell numerous scents around him. He crouches low to the ground, and sniffs the air for a second time. Come on, let me find something, The lead warrior silently pleads, but he can't pick up on any fresh prey scents in the area. It's like all the prey just... disappeared.

Lives were lost; warriors and apprentices were injured to reclaim this patch of land. Why is it now, it seems to be vacant of prey?

An ear twitches as Beefang's voice reaches him, glancing over in her direction as she seems to look past their border.... and onto the frost covered foliage of ThunderClan. What are you planning? Foxtail thinks as his own eyes narrow. He stands up from his crouch, and can only blink before his fellow lead warrior crossed over the invisible border. "Keep alert and claws unsheathed." Her gaze lands onto his, just briefly, and his eyebrows arch as she seems to.... challenge him. The nervous lead warrior holds his head high, and he hopes his apprentice can learn a last minute lesson from this.

"...That p-prey you smell," Foxtail hisses out, padding forward near the border, "doesn't belong to u-us." He can smell it too— any prey scents he caught moments ago were within the new borderlines. It doesn't matter how hungry he, or anyone else, is. The warrior code states they mustn't trespass or steal prey— life out in the wild is never easy. There will be times when they struggle to find prey, like now. Why throw away the code the clan leaders built up, anytime there's a struggle?

But for as much as his stomach rumbles, the thinning warrior stands his ground. "Do w-we really need more trouble with T-ThunderClan?" Foxtail challenges, ears pinning back to his cranium. "We can l-look elsewhere for prey, I'm not going to b-break the code." Without saying another word, he looks over at his apprentice. I hope you'll make the right decision here.

Reactions: BEEFANG
Hunting patrol after hunting patrol and yet with the early frost that had frozen the river over earlier than expected, with larger beasts fighting for the same amount of prey, RiverClan was... hungry. She was hungry. Even in her dreams she was starting to imagine the beautiful skins of a nice salmon, the little juicy bodies of some minnows-

But their patrol has a different idea in mind. Not that she could have known until the moment that Beefang speaks.

At whatever cost. Suddenly, all the air in her lungs has shifted. Keep her claws unsheathed? Were they fighting? Why? Not to mention, the first place that Beefang's gaze goes is to her mentor. Of course. She had had the same thoughts, the same ideas, about Foxtail too. He'll roll over. He's easy. He's a push over. She had thought the same things, and yet now in this moment, in Sunningrocks, that perspective had been shifted too. Is Foxtail really so wrong, if they had to resort to thievery and desperation? to look like they're groveling at the paws of ThunderClanners, unable to get a single scrap for themselves? What would that look like? They might as well give Sunningrocks up right then and there, they'd be painting a target right on their backs."Why are you looking at him like that, Beefang?"

Sure... they were desperate. They were hungry, their kits and elders didn't deserve this. Surely, her sudden change of heart into actually listening to these so-called 'Lead Warriors' based on their good judgement and character couldn't be led astray so quickly. But of course it was never that easy. Her lip curls, and a scoff sounds out of her before she can stop it. "You can't be serious. Are you actually serious?" she almost hisses through her teeth in the recognition that she should be quiet. Even Foxtail is quick to speak up against it too, and there's at least a tiny piece of herself that's glad her change of judgement wasn't for naught.

But... Beefang has a point. And what's worse, Sunpaw knows it would be easy for her. She's fast, lithe, swooping in and out for a piece of prey wouldn't... take that long. She could do it. And for the second that her gaze lingers ahead towards where someone else's prey lies, Foxtail speaks again.

I'm not going to break the code

Oh... It would make sense that it's that serious. Her gaze shifts, and Foxtail's eyes are already on her and her ears flatten back. "I won't do it," she murmurs. She thought about it. She wants to, if only to ease the gnaw in her stomach, to make sure their kits and their elders will make it through this leaf bare, but... she takes a step back, closer to her mentor's side. "Does Lichenstar even know about this?" she mews softly. She can't easily see Lichenstar agreeing to something like this, but maybe.. she's wrong. No. Adults are stupid, and foolish, and have no more sense of good judgement than any of the rest of them.

"Foxtail, we should... go, right?" They can go hunt themselves, go back to camp at worst - they don't need to be here. They shouldn't.

//pre-warriorship! Sunpaw will not be stealing, but she's close to Foxtail and thus also close to the border! Open for minor/maybe a moderate wound but no death!

Reactions: BEEFANG and FOXTAIL
Iciclefang pads toward the tail-end of Beefang's patrol, her head low. The blizzard has subsided, but what of it? Her kits have not spoken to her in what feels like moons; when she meets their eyes, now, they avert them and walk away with stiff-limbed steps. They keep to themselves, to each other, and they shut her out of their broken lives, and she knows better than to reach for them now. They have had their lives upended, but worse, Lichenstar has made spectacles of them to Clanmates who once respected them — and she knows those wounds will take more than time to heal.

Stormywing had saved Pinepaw's life, and she cannot be angry about that, but she had crushed Iciclefang's place in her Clan into slivers. The tortoiseshell had been demoted without ceremony, and now her Clanmates look at her like she's infectious — like the halfClan mate she'd taken almost a full cycle of seasons ago could catch like whitecough, or fleas. She tries to pay it no mind. She is still a warrior of RiverClan, and she still has duties to perform, no matter how utterly in shambles her life is in right now.

But their hunting patrol to Sunningrocks is a bust. Iciclefang isn't the only one who can't scent anything between the stones. Beefang turns to them and tells them: "RiverClan will eat today." The tortoiseshell's ears flick; she is no fool. She immediately catches the lead warrior's meaning. She won't pretend she's above it; her own belly growls, and there are still kits in the nursery, Gladefrost's ill-begotten bunch and Claythorn's growing little ones.

She narrows her eyes as first Foxtail, then Sunpaw begin to speak against Beefang's command. She has no love for the she-cat who would have wished her exiled, nor for the tom who wished her to be replaced — but she does have love for the Clan of her birth, the Clan her children strive to support. Iciclefang studies both cats for a moment before murmuring, "Can we afford this misplaced honor? Our Clan suffers. Starves. Isn't feeding them the best we can do?" She doesn't look at Beefang as she says it — nor does she look at Foxtail. She doesn't care what either of them do or don't do, at the end of the day. She no longer has to worry about her reputation — that's been smashed into tattered pieces and crushed into dust. All she has to worry about now is the survival of her Clan.

જ➶Her mind is always turbulent these days. It's tiring and sometimes sleep evaded her because of it. Too many issues surround her if she has anything to say about and there are no solutions in sight. A rough breath escapes her, sending ghosts of warmth into the air as she tries to focus on the hunt. It is here that she has skills, doing what a warrior should. Her tail lashes back and forth as she tries her best to pick up anything around Sunningrocks. All that work, all the death and blood spilled for rocks that aren't even giving them anything to show for it. Her muzzle curls in disdain but she keeps trying to look. Going home with nothing is plausible right now but she doesn't want to think about it. Her ear twitches as Beefang asks about finding anything and she is quiet. Her maw clamped shut almost in denial to actually say she hasn't. Hostile eyes keep to looking before she glances over to the trees vaguely caring about the forest.

Yet her attention is pulled back when she notices Beefang and her look toward them and then back to the forest. Riverclan will eat today. Her maw twists at the implication. To break the code and hunt on another clan's territory. No matter the cost. Her paws shift and shuffle, pressing against the snow and for once she is hesitant but not enough it seems. While she cares about the code she cares about her clan more. Ripplekit will be hungry, starving in the nursery. She has to take care of him. At that moment the hesitation leaks away and she merely nods her head. Though it seems that Foxtail has other things to say about this. He wishes to push back, he doesn't want to provide for his home. Sunpaw stands with him and she slides her claws out to go and sniff along the border. Why can they not just do what is necessary? Some rules are broken often enough and sticking with it themselves right now will only hurt them.

"I'm going to feed my home. There are cats counting on us right now for something to eat." She conceeds to Beefang's wishes easily enough, spurred on by the twisting hunger in her stomach, food that she will not get but will feed someone else. Her ears twitch as she hears Iciclefang but she merely glances back to the trees, maw parting to try and get a taste of what might be out there.

࿐ ࿔*:・゚ — Two of them are against her and the other two are for hunting on Thunderclan's territory so that they could feed the hungry mouths back home, Beefang's whiskers twitch with annoyance only to glance towards Pebbletail and Splashdance hoping that the two of them would make the right decision. Even if they may be breaking the code as much as Beefang detests they will be feeding their starving clan and that itself is all that matters to the lead warrior at the given moment, a frown pulling at the sides of her mouth only to regard Foxtail once more.

He speaks the truth and she hates it at that moment before he suggests that they can look elsewhere for prey that he isn't willing to break the code, the black smoke has to stifle a snort at his foolishness "Where would you even suggest searching? Do you not see the state our clan is in? We've searched and the river is far too cold or frozen over for fish. Prey is scarce, this is a fact... unless you are blind to your own ribs showing and deaf to the growling bellies of our clanmates." Her tone is blunt but not aggressive as she tries to reason with him and to make him see why its dire that they bring back food for their clan.

"Our fruitless searching will only lead to the death of the injured and sick, as well as those in the nursery. Is that what you want?" She doesn't care about her own growling belly but moreso of those within the nursery and they mattered the most right now, the code stated that queens and kittens must be fed first so Beefang would make sure to ensure that even if it meant breaking another code. Her feathery tail bristles slightly only to lash to the side with her snout wrinkling with frustration only to breathe lowly to speak once more "You're allowed to leave for the sake of not breaking the code that I can respect but you shall return home with empty paws, the rest of this patrol will hunt and bring prey back to Riverclan."

This itself would answer Sunpaw's question without the lead warrior taking a heartbeat to glance in her direction and a part of her is satisfied that Foxtail had trained a good apprentice despite her emotional meltdown in public, her eyes linger on her cousin instead who understood how harsh and unforgiving leaf-bare truly could be. She hopes that she can rely on him to stand by her side even if she may be in the wrong in this situation and her tattered ear flicks momentarily "Pebbletail." The black smoke speaks in a tone much gentler than she regards anyone else then towards the snow freckled molly that had become mates with Midnightash on the whim, "Splashdance." The two of them could make the wrong choice for the right reasons if they considered it truly.

"If you will not hunt then be our eyes." She says finally to the pair who refused to break the code only to motion for the rest of the patrol to follow her lead once more, Beefang has already warned them to be alert of their surroundings and keep their claws unsheathed if there's a Thunderclan patrol nearby. Her jaws part to take in the scents around her and she does her best not to wince at the putrid stench of Thunderclan all over where they step though she shouldn't be all that surprised given its their territory, it isn't long until she spots the sight of a emerald dipped head of a pheasant does the lead warrior perk up at the sight. It's a lot bigger than the usual birds that she's seen within Riverclan's territory or any bird for that matter, the sight alone makes her swallow the saliva forming on the roof of her mouth.

Another swift motion of her tail for someone to help her with delivering the kill and she stalks forward doing her best to hide amongst the frosted foliage despite the way her pelt is pitch black against the newly fallen snow. Her whiskers quiver with excitement, her jaws clench at the thought of her getting a taste of its blood first, and a snowy dipped paw lifts slightly only for her to storm forward to swat at the bird that its startled enough to fly closer to Riverclan border before it whips around with ruffled plummage.

Beefang lunges once more trying to evade its sharp beak that threatens to pierce flesh and tear off her fear, she tries to lock her jaws on it but it pecks at her head so her claws dig into its body instead as a growl leaves her throat. She isn't leaving without this prey and she uses all her might to shove it over the Thunderclan border closer to her clanmates to deliver a killing bite.

Iciclefang's pale gaze flicks with disinterest from Beefang, to Foxtail, to Midnightash, to Sunpaw, before she mews, her voice flat, "This bickering is wasting time we don't have. I'll be putting my paws to good use while you finish up." The grand-standing is a little much for her. The warrior code is important, but her Clanmates have already labeled her a codebreaker — and she cannot truly deny it, can she? Her kits' existence is proof she had forsaken the warrior code.

She does not balk from it again. The tortoiseshell slips past Sunningrocks, her paws crunching frostbitten leaves. She tastes the air now that they are away from the frozen stones. Something has burrowed its way under the ground here, seeking warmth and comfort, and she determinedly scrapes forest debris from a hole just in time to see a whiskered nose poke from its opening.

Iciclefang is quick. She lowers her jaws and snaps them around the creature's body. It's only a mouse — and it's thinner than she'd have liked — but in leafbare, prey is prey. She lifts her head and peers into the forest, her blue eyes narrowed with challenge. If ThunderClan should come across them, so be it. Let there be blood. She is only following orders, after all.

It had been nearly a moon since the battle at Sunningrocks that had cost them a precious landmark and with it, resources. Despite the time it had passed, Roaringsun still tenses whenever they patrol near the stones, the stench of RiverClan wafting into the forest. Today it was no different except the smell was much stronger, much fresher. . . and it is then he realizes it's not blowing just from Sunningrocks. The fish-breaths were in their territory!

The golden-furred tom raises his tail to alert the patrol. His ears are angled forward trying to catch their conversation. Were they arguing among themselves? Preparing for another ambush?

Roaringsun flexes his claws, yet he is unable to make out what they were speaking. But one thing was clear: they were trespassing! The warrior glances at Leafhusk, and then Roeflame, his eyes blazing with fury but awaiting their orders. Would they strike now or would someone run back to camp to fetch reinforcements? There could be more Riverclanners hiding nearby, they did like to fight dirty.

The battle with ShadowClan was still a recent memory, the new scars that raked gray-pink pathways down Roeflame's chest and ribs were only just healed over. With how strong the bitter taste of RiverClans recent victory over them was, it only makes Roeflame's spine prickle hotter when Roaringsun alerts the patrol to his discovery.

The enemy patrol is just out of earshot, and while Roeflame's still has yet to be seen, ThunderClan would not have the element of surprise for long. Giving Leafhusk a steely glance, she'd give the lead warrior a curt nod. ThunderClan would not allow RiverClan to take from them again, they could not be walked all over. This time, RiverClan had lost their advantage to the forest, their water-based skills were useless in the midst of thick, rooted undergrowth.

Lowering herself, Roeflame would signal for her patrol to follow her lead. The more distance the patrol could close unnoticed, the better. Celadon hues lock onto Iciclefang as the RiverClanners jaws snap around a piece of ThunderClan prey, and the deputy knows who her target is.

Having traversed as close as they could without giving themselves away, resentment burns like hot coals in the ThunderClanners chest as she rises from the undergrowth. "That's ThunderClan prey, it stays on ThunderClan territory." The deputy snarls to the calico river-dweller. In place of a call to attack, the patrols signal would instead ring when Roeflame lunges for Iciclefang, aiming to deliver a swift, unsheathed blow to the enemy warriors muzzle, or at the very least use the brunt attack style to force the patchwork warrior even further into enemy territory.

If the last time she ever saw a Riverclanner was at the battle for the Sunningrocks then she'd die very happy. Unfortunately fate dictates it to not be, the stench of stale water and a weak linger of fish predates the actual sighting of the patrol. It's never a good thing smelling them so close to their border, wouldn't they be equally content to not hang around here? Her plumy tail flicks against @Finchpaw , a silent warning to be aware of their presence though they doubt that he really needs the reminder. It seemed everyone in ThunderClan was at least waiting for the deputy's call, Houndshade refuses to be seen as some feral who can't control herself at the thought of battle so she too waits. Rather than something dignified and vocal it's told in actions, this is something she appreciates because why should anyone truly wait until a cordial invitation is dished out for something as barbaric as fighting?

"Aww is Sunningrocks not working out for you?" She jeered with a snarl, tone mocking whatever plight the clan finds themself in. Is it a matter of starvation or is it simply because their river dwelling neighbours were bored? Either option truly wouldn't surprise the smoke. Tail lashing in a furious motion she doesn't spare her apprentice another look before setting her sights on Beefang. It seemed that she carried the most gusto, besides wasn't she a lead warrior or something? If Houndshade could potentially gain the upper paw against her then maybe it could dissuade the others from continuing?

There is already a collection of scars on the dark pelt of the she-cat in front of her, would anything she do really be felt? Possibly not, she lost an eye for StarClan's sake! It's a daunting experience, to stare down someone so intimidating. In a heart beat she blinks and looks down to the riverclanners paws, the chances of winning are slim and they recognize that. Houndshade surprisingly, is a strategist born out of pure laziness, prioritizing efficiency over effort. If she could damage Beefangs paw then it would introduce a new kind of struggle, every step she takes, every attempt at swimming, there will be a permenant hinderance and that truly is enough for the smoke.

With a goal in sight she lunges for the dark smoke, instead of aiming for anything lethal she clamps her fangs across a front paw, the sanguine metallic palette that floods her senses is never pleasant so she pretends that this is prey instead. No regret left behind as she chews and tugs feeling the crunch of cartilage against the roof of her mouth, not enough to sever it clean but they hold faith that their medicine cat is going to have to sever the appendage. In an act of defiance she spits Beefangs own blood back onto the intimidating warrior.

Splashdance almost wants to avoid these grounds. They were RiverClan's first, from what she's told, so by no means does she find guilt in retrieving them once more - but the chaos and bloodshed had been too recent. She fears seeing bodies floating in the cold rapids, rather than any prey worth its cost. Still, she's drafted for this patrol, and it's not like she will neglect attending it.

(There are morsels of her, too, that wonder who chose the patrol members at all. Did she have to be sandwiched between her mate and old friend - or have to witness Iciclefang at the place of reckoning once more? Does fate like to be cruel or is the deputy simply playing games because she's bored?)

Regardless of her feelings, the hunt is unsuccessful. She had managed hardly a minnow before Beefang sets her sights on something more, gaze staring into the oaklands of ThunderClan's remaining territory. Her chest thumps with another want to escape - but the bickering bolts her paws down. Midnightash tethers her to the patrol, even whilst some of them are relinquished from the wrongdoing, should they want to. They're right - there are hungry mouths back in camp, and even a measly squirrel or skinny sparrow can feed someone. Beefang says her name, sharper than she had Pebbletail's, and the dark furred molly nods her head slightly.

She stalks behind the lead warrior, her gaze holding forward. A tail flick alerts her to a pheasant spotted by Beefang, and whilst Iciclefang and Midnightash dart after their own catches, Splashdance joins her superior in taking this beast down. It's large - not massive as she imagines they tend to be in warmer moons - but enough for several cats to have several bites, at least. When it launches to peck at Beefang, Splashdance rears up, locking her jaws around it's thin throat and biting down as hard as she can. Her claws make a mess of its feathers but, eventually, it goes down.

"Good find..." Splashdance says, after spitting a feather out of her mouth. She opens her maw to suggest bringing it across the river once more when she notices the stench of ThunderClan, fresh around them. Roeflame speaks and launches towards the nearest RiverClanner - Iciclefang, it seems. The dark furred warrior looks over the crowd with narrowed eyes, grasping at the pheasant again and dragging it out of their way. It's a large patrol, one that would make her think that they were planning on remarking the borders and attacking any lingering RiverClanners anyways. Cowards.

She continues to drag their catch away, hoping to slip it across the stream without much notice, when she finds Houndshade upon Beefang. She clamps her teeth around the lead warrior's paw and if not for the new sounds of chaos, Splashdance is certain she would've heard a crunch. She winces as the other spits blood back at Beefang. Abandoning their catch, the younger molly launches forward, claws unsheathed as she tries to rake them down the ThunderClanner's side and buy time for her companion to right herself.

Without delay, Roeflame springs into battle. His clanmates soon follow - all except for Orangepaw, he notes - and Roaringsun joins in with claws outstreched, teeth bared as he snarls. His eyes blaze wildly like fire, raging and uncontrolled. ThunderClan had the advantage in the attack; RiverClan was not used to the dense undergrowth of the territory.

From the corner of his gaze, the tom spots Houndshade in a spat with Beefang, biting down hard on the one-eyed she-cat's paw. He didn't wish to be on the receiving end of that — Houndshade even spits the warrior's blood at her. It's a one-on-one until another Riverclanner joins in to make the fight even more unfair. Roaringsun growls as he barrels into Splashdance to separate her from his clanmate. He might be too late to stop her strike, but he would not sit idly and let them gang up on the chocolate-furred molly.

"Haven't you taken enough?" He hisses, glaring in the direction of Sunningrocks before narrowing his eyes at Splashdance. He leaps at her, aiming to knock her off her paws and pin her to the ground. If he succeeds, he will then rake his claws down her stomach.

The little fish have strayed too far from their pond once again. What a surprise. The fur along Palefire's spine bristled as she watched Roeflame and Leafhusk exchange glances, the scent of Riverclan trespassers heavy in the air. It hadn't been two moons since their joint attack with Shadowclan, where they had evidently claimed that they needed Sunningrocks. It would be the difference between starvation and salvation, they had cried. Well, it certainly looked like that was working out well for them now. As the enemy patrol came into view, she quickly noted their gaunt faces, pelts clinging too tight to their bones and she couldn't help the righteous grin that stretched across her lips.

Her claws unsheathed eagerly into the earth as she and her clanmates crept quietly through the underbrush. This time, they would have the element of surprise, and her paws tingled with anticipation. They were close enough to smell the foul, fishy stench radiating off the Riverclanners by the time Roeflame announced their presence, throwing herself at Iciclefang and giving way for the rest of the patrol to do the same. Sky blue eyes glinting wickedly , she scanned the newly-minted battlefield as bodies writhed in fury. Her gaze narrowed on a stark pelt of ebony and amber, a feral snarl curling her lips as she stalked towards @MIDNIGHTASH . "You lot are really pushing your luck," she growled.

A quick moment passed wherein Palefire sized up her opponent, noting the hard expression on the younger molly's face. This ought to be fun. She circled like a lion stalking its prey, taking her time, before suddenly darting forward and attempting to swipe her claws across Midnightash's cheek. Not waiting to see if her blow landed, she pulled back, continuing to enclose the other warrior. "Its time to swim along home now," she chided with a click of her tongue, eyes flashing dangerously. Growing tired of her own little dance already, the lynx-point whirled to face her opponent fully and lunged forward, her jaws parted and aiming to sink her teeth into the Riverclanner's shoulder.
