LH BLUE LYNX POINT WITH LOW WHITE AND SILVERY EYES
Snowflakekit is born delicate and fragile, pretty in a way that seems easy to break. They're an exceptionally small kit, perpetually whimpering from the leaf-bare chill that seems to freeze their tiny form down to the bones. As she ages, she'll grow into Lichentail's sharp features and long limbs, with Hazecloud's larger paws; through it all, though, they'll retain that sense of physical fragility. Lichentail's unruly fur drapes over their form in wild tufts that mix choppy and spiky textures into an untamed carelessness. Snowflakekit's pelt is a pale blue-white that darkens at the points like frostbite, woven through with fanciful spirals and stripes, ready-made for a show. White blazes their nose like Lichentail, as well as the tip of her long, whiplike tail and forepaws. A single star-dot is kissed into the center of their chest in a diamond of white. Their eyes are a captivating pale silvery-blue, starsilver and snakelike.

As a kitten, Snowflakekit's presence is dominated by their delicate constitution. Their health is expectedly frail, and their whimpering cries will be constant at times due to the way the leaf-bare chill nips at their tiny body. She will initially be somewhat inhibited from the flourishing personality of her later kithood with their constant ailments and susceptibility to leaf-bare cold. Snowflakekit will likely be unable to participate in kit games when her siblings begin to due to her exceptionally frail health, and at one point her illness may become so serious that death will appear on the horizon. Even once she recovers, she'll likely seem to require a certain degree of coddling and protectiveness to ensure she doesn't become a victim of leaf-bare's vengeance.

However, she is the furthest thing from a saintly and long-suffering ill child; far from trailing sadly behind their siblings, she's apt to dominate the room with her performative presence as soon as she's able. Snowflakekit is a natural performer, with an effortless stage presence and a particular love for the beautiful and the flamboyant. They're confident and endlessly glamorous, charming with their knack for sassy humor and love for vivid colors, regardless of how their delicate health might seem to inhibit them. She'll adore decorating herself with colorful butterfly wings and other trinkets, and she assigns a certain importance to the old-world charm of good manners and etiquette. Yes, she does want you to help her over the stepping-stones, and she might be a bit miffed if you don't offer.

Make no mistake, however—Snowflakekit might like to be treated like a lady, but when push comes to shove, she's far from a damsel in distress. She has no interest in sharing the stage, and she'll happily shove you off it to keep the spotlight on her. Depending on how their childhood unfolds, they might be a bit of a thrillseeker and an adrenaline junkie as an apprentice to spite any impression of her as 'delicate' due to her poor health. At the same time, though, she's an instinctive survivalist who would do anything to stay not only alive but ahead. Snowflakekit is deeply ambitious, striving to make their mark on the world and receive all the attention, affection, and fame they can get—and they would do some questionable things for it.

Snowflakekit tends to be materialistic and noncommital; they treat a lot of life and relationships like just another performance, and throw away other cats like set pieces when they're done. When she's of an appropriate age, she's likely to be flirtatious but refuse to commit. It'd be a dangerous practice, given how vain they are; they prize their public image and would do almost anything to preserve its positivity. They're intelligent despite acting like a bit of an airhead sometimes, socially ruthless with the potential for violence—but most of all, a skillful social butterfly and a born actress.

  • THEIR STORY: Theirs is no great love story—or no love story at all. Cygnetstare and Gooseberry never labor under the delusion of calling each other mates, or the pretense of having feelings. Their relationship is nothing more than a reaction to loneliness, late nights on guard duty, and a world falling apart around them; on Cygnetstare's part, a new awareness of her own mortality. A couple of midnight trysts lead to the not entirely unexpected consequences: a litter of kits at possibly the worst time.

    Things only worsen when WindClan tears itself into two; Gooseberry remains with Sootstar mere days after finding out about his kits, and Cygnetstare flees with Sunstride's rebels. Blood stains the moor, and this leaf-bare seems ready to be the worst yet. These kits, should they make it through WindClan's bloodiest winter, will be born into a Clan at civil war; whether their parents will live to see them is another matter entirely...

  • — This is a litter with darker themes, including parental death. Writing kits affected by the circumstances of their birth or with darker/angstier themes is welcome!
