FROSTBITE x SKUNKTAIL

Skunktail, son of Briarstar and brother to Pitchstar is hardly the kind of cat that befits a family with as strong a legacy as his. He is entirely unmotivated to do more than the bare minimum and takes life one paw step at a time. Recently he's learned he is a father, meeting his grown kits and bonding with them with a longing to have been part of their lives more properly than he was. It's left him with mixed emotions, especially given his current infatuation with the clan's senior Lead Warrior: Frostbite.
The opposite of Skunktail in both poise and appearance, Frostbite is diligent and hardworking with a snowy coat inherited from his mountain born family he long since left behind. He has a previous litter with Flamingmoth who are nearing warrior age.

They two have had a back and forth for a while, neither really saying anything outright. Skunktail blatantly attempting courting whole Frostbite withdrew due to previous pains and trauma relating to heartbreak but eventually the snow melts, the flowers bloom, and two idiots confess...

  • This litter is NOT FCFS - please apply with the basic information: appearance, personality, plot plans etc...
  • Include alternative names to give us more options in selecting!
  • These kits will be very much doted upon as they are Frostbite's first litter with an actual mate and Skunktail's first he gets to actually see grow up. Please no heavily angst-focused plots relating to parental neglect or disinterest as that will not be the case!

With the weather warm and spring in full swing, the clans enjoy the bounty of the new season and the lack of stress from leafbare's lingering struggles but RiverClan finds itself facing a new predicament more difficult to handle than lack of prey or rogues taking over.
Two-legs.
The territory is suddenly filled with large motionless monsters, crackling fires, boats tearing across the river and two-leg stench lingering everywhere. They have even gone so far as to throw things in the river and take the clans' fish! Something must be done to drive them out or they may cause harm to the territory or the cats themselves!

  • This event will run for the entirety of the Month of May and even a little over it based on timelines and people's preferences! We included a basic timeline per request based on the previous survey feedback but it is subject to change within reason!
    Participation will reward a badge. Threads made for the event need to be indicated with a SYMBOL of a fish! 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
    Members will be given a bingo card with fish names on it when they sign up!
    To earn the badge they must get a BINGO (several squares marked in a line) anything else is just extra!
    The middle is a Free Space (WAHOO!)
    People who fill out a full Bingo Card get put into a raffle for some art!
    In the thread include an Ooc note on which fish from your card you are using!
    To earn the badge you must get bingo which is FOUR FISH (one WAHOO/FREE SPACE), two of which need to be replies to other threads, coordinate with the discord to get a fish thread for everyone set up to reply to!


  • May 1st - May 15th
    Establishing Two-leg presence and issues. It starts subtle, almost nice as the two-legs leave food and water out to coax the cats closer. Please note during this period threads should remain cautious but lighthearted, there is cause for concern but nothing has happened just yet.
    - Rubber duckies, toys and trash left in river.
    - Fish being taken, finding nets and coolers/buckets of them.
    - Boats begin appearing and moving down river (some paddle/some engine)
    - Campers/Camp fires/Tents etc…
    - Two-leg Litter
    - Two-leg kits wandering too close to camp in their exploring!
    - Two-leg dogs…

    May 15th Thread
    Cats begin going missing and introduction of the twoleg camp kittypets, Adopts for these characters will be on the Mass Adopts and ARE LIMITED! It just doesn't make sense for there to be a ton of them so we will be reviewing applications and prioritizing people without RiverClan mains!
    The camp kittypets will reveal the missing cats are being taken by the twolegs.

    May 16th - May 23rd
    Planning on how to deal with the two-legs, the issues become more severe as hunters begin to arrive and leave traps, fire their guns etc…
    Hunting dogs begin to patrol the territory.

    May 23rd Thread (THE PLAN)
    The clan will, prior to this, notice a new addition to the territory along with the humans (possibly drawn in by the scent of the twoleg food), a mother bear and her cubs. They will plan to lure the bear towards the two-legs to scare them off. Kittypets from the campers will assist in aiding any captured RiverClanners in escaping.
    The bears will trash the two-leg camps and unbeknownst to the cats the Fish and Game Wardens will pull people from the area and ban them from returning due to the danger presented.

Skunktail has been around since ShadowClan's forming but minds his own business and likes to live life to the fullest. You'll find him oftentimes just lounging out in the sun if he's not doing the bare minimum to get by. He's very sensible despite his slacker persona and feels very strongly about honor and doing the right thing even in ShadowClan.

    Skunktail looks like his namesake, although much more longer of limb. His dark body is sleek, glossy, and fits in well with ShadowClan and its naturally dark environment. A single white stripe moves from his nose to between his eyes and another streaks through a patch of fur atop his head, outside of these his more prominent feature is the long white stripe from the back of his neck all the way to the tip of his incredinly bushy tail that moves unbreaking in a line along his spine. Skunktail sports two bright, spearmint green colored eyes; the only vibrant color on an otherwise very monochromatic cat.

    A very unmotivated tom, Skunktail lives by the creed that he's 'here for a good time, not a long time' and takes life in stride as a result. He very rarely angers or gets bothered by anything, approaching the world with a passive smile and dry wit that can only be described as sarcasm without the effort of sass. Skunktail has no true aspirations in life and doesn't exactly look to the future with goals in mind, each take is taken one at a time and he never gives much consideration for planning or his own presence. He does his work and attends the duties he's assigned but he's not exactly a go-getter and won't pitch in more than he's told, instead opting to use his idle time for relaxation and lounging about; he's an avid nap taker.
    At the end of the day Skunktail is just a leaf in the wind, let's it carry him wherever it blows and doesn't offer much protest though that does not mean he is entirely without resistance to being bossed around. When push comes to shove he'll stand up for himself and his clan and steps from the sidelines as necessary but never trods upon any toes in the process; behind his slacker demeanor hides a tactically minded and scarily competent cat who could be something much more than a mere warrior if he had the aspirations for it.
