1. JOURNEYING WINDCLANNERS may participate. However, not all of the prompts are journey friendly. We will be lenient with journeying characters and they do not have to follow the prompts to a T, instead complete any that are viable and/or participate in 3 fall/spooky themed threads.
2. Prompts must be completed by November 1st, 12AM CST or they will not count torwards your reward total.
3. Three prompts must be completed for the badge.
4. Public, private and oneshot threads are welcome! For opens, please make an effort to reply to the thread more than once. For oneshots, please be sure to explore the prompt fully.
5. Some prompts were purposely left open-ended with no set direction to explore them in, take creative freedom!
6. Please track and link your completion progress in this thread. We will use this thread as reference to hand out badges.
7. Have fun with these prompts! The badge is certainly meant to be a motivator, but we kept the prompt requirement low to encourage enjoyment rather than grinding through threads. -
The HP team is also offering 1 personalized development prompt per character on request! Please comment below stating you'd like one with links to tags. Completion of a development prompt counts as 1 prompt torwards your total.
It is a dark and stormy night, all the cats have to huddle up in the burrows in camp and your character decides to tell a ghost story!
The twolegs at horse place have decided to decorate for Halloween, this includes an inflatable, fake cobwebs with fake spiders, and a bunch of weird rocks in a row (gravestones), pick one and write about your characters reaction to these strange new items!
There is an abandoned badger set on WindClan's territory that is said to be haunted by the ghost of the creature who lived there prior, your character, along with whoever is brave enough to join them, decides to venture in. Are the rumors true or was it a hoax?
Twoleg kits are seen smashing something with a big stick, after they leave your character decides to check it out and discovers it was a pumpkin. What do they do?
Strange whispers and weeping noises can be faintly heard inside the camp at night… It seems to be coming from the graveyard…? Is your character frightened? Do they feel the need to investigate or would they rather remain hidden in the grass?
Legend says a black, red-eyed rabbit appears on the moors this time of year. Elders say it only shows itself to cats whose time is coming to an end. Is this just a silly elders tale?
Crows circle and gather at Outlook Rock. It's suspected something must've died there… but what could it be thats drawing this much attention? Cats find themselves weary to investigate
A strange figure stands unmoving within a small garden next to the horseplace. It shakes in the wind while its beady, black eyes stare forward menacingly. What is this unnerving twoleg's deal?
The elderly twolegs who reside at the horseplace have had young twoleg kits over. They nibble and eat on strange colorful prey before littering their crinkly pelts around the fence. Curious cats invesitigate.
Nights seem to have grown longer. Just a moon ago the sun poked out from the earth when it was time for dawn patrol, these days the stars are often still out! How does your character feel about the prolonged night time?
The trees are making a drastic change on RiverClan and ThunderClan's side of the border. With WindClan's limited amount of trees, this is a new (maybe even shocking) sight for some young cats of the clan. (Bonus observation; ShadowClan's trees remain the same? Why?)
As it gets cold, how does your character stay warm? Do they notice a winter coat coming in? Do they already have an abundance of fur? Do they begin to huddle closer together in their nests at night?
Spiders have began to take shelter from the cold. They seem to be favoring the entrances of the tunnels and stringing the walls with cobwebs.
