Welcome to a Newleaf prompt event! The threads are divided into ones that can be done by camp-bound cats and ones that are only viable outside the camp! Camp threads can be reworked to be outside the camp but territory ones only really work outside! This event will run for all of April and is meant to be chill and relaxing so don't stress about rushing to get them all done and enjoy!

❀ To earn the badge you must make 4 posts!
❀ TWO of these posts must be replies to threads you didn't make, the other TWO can be anything! (One-shots, privates, another open thread, more replies etc...)

❀ Try to make sure you are making a prompt that doesn't already exist on the board if possible for more variety, but this is more of a suggestion than requirement !

❀ Newleaf means the water is warm enough for kittens to begin learning to swim, the clan should come together to ensure they pick up this important skill and don't end up as drypaws!
❀ The fish return enmasse and so the potential for some fishing contests arise! Who can catch the most, the biggest, the coolest etc...For added fun you can roll for them!
❀ Flowers have begun to bloom once more, adding an additional item of decoration for RiverClan's tradition of prettying up and adding some color to their nests.
❀ With the water no longer cold the hunt for shining stones and shells can begin once again - a good flat shell packed with mud helps add another layer of protection to the base of a den in case of flooding!
❀ Birds return and so too do their feathers and song, flocks of them can be seen gathering in trees and littering the ground in colorful plumes but they'd also look real nice on the freshkill pile...
❀ Cattails have begun to pop up again, do you dare take a bite?
❀ The crickets are singing at nice once more, other insects are buzzing as well and fireflies begin to drift through the night.
❀ The recent spring showers unearth the soil and from it come wriggling worms and other grub-like insects.
❀ With the mood lighter its back to RiverClan's habits of decoriating their fur with trinkets and baubles and making 'paint' to color pelts. Berries, flowers and shimmering fish scales make for a pretty sparkling palette.
❀ Newleaf, new start! It's spring cleaning time! The camp could use some sprucing up, nests need to be remade and collections must be cleaned out and refreshed!
❀ RiverClan has its own flower language, but what flower best represents your character and why?

❀ Hunting on the territory now vibrant and green once more is now much more enjoyable as prey once hibernating away begin to slither and hop about again - snakes are once again on the territory, be careful!
❀ With prey abundant once more predators are also more likely, be mindful as you traverse the territory as foxes, badgers and even roaming dogs may be around any corner...
❀ As well as predators, other dangerous large mammals who aren't actively hostile and hunting cats, may also be seen! Such as deer or large fowl.
❀ The cats are not the only ones bringing in new life, a small baby animal is found while out on the territory.
❀ Strange lights are seen at night once more, further investigation shows the twolegs are returning to the territory once more to make their fires and build temporary nests (tents).
❀ Strange wooly animals are seen along the river, the horseplace looks like it lost track of some of its sheep.
❀ A horrific wailing is hear in the dead of night along with a strange piercing and shrill sound. Near one of the twoleg camps a twoleg seems to be strangling an odd device and warbling like a wounded animal. (Guitar player)
❀ Oh noooo, you and another cat (or cats) got caught in the rain and must shelter from the storm together!
❀ The recent melting snow seems to have made the river rise a little.
❀ NOT THE BEES! They're back and so is their honey! Will you risk it for a delicious treat?
❀ Twolegs are present again within the waters riding their terrifying water monsters! These beasts come in two varieties, ones that move with long sticks while carrying twolegs and others that roar like thunder as they zip along the surface! Be careful! (Boats)
