THUNDERCLAN MENTOR / APPRENTICE MATCHMAKING

Name: bravekit
Activity level: high casual, 10 posts
What kind of mentor would you like for them?: one that matches his strong desire for justice and doing whats right. but also firm enough to guide him into the right direction to keep focused on his training and not always playing hero

Reposting as he is available again

Name: Burnstorm
Activity level: Active
What kind of mentor would they be?: Burnstorm would be an incredibly strict mentor, someone who expects greatness out of his apprentice and who has little patience for short comings or failure. Praise will be rare coming from him but hard-won and meaningful. At the end of the day, he just wants what's best for whatever cat ends up under his watch and for them to become a warrior who will make ThunderClan and himself proud. Would focus mostly on combat training as that is what he is best at.

Name: Raccoonstripe
Activity level: High
What kind of mentor would they be?: Raccoonstripe does not love mentoring, so be prepared for any mentor/apprentice bonding to be pretty slowburn! Racc is a stern teacher who has been described oocly as a "drill sergeant." He takes great pride in his position within ThunderClan and expects his protege to be on their best behavior at all times. He does not suffer disobedience lightly, thinks poorly of kittypets and outsiders, and loves to assign menial chores like making his nests and bringing him prey. That being said, Raccoonstripe is a skilled warrior, particularly where combat is concerned, and he will ensure your OC is in top fighting shape.

Repost since he's looking for a new mentor!

Name: Marigoldpaw
Activity level: Semi-active
What kind of mentor would you like for them?: Someone who will be able to handle his blunt disposition, as while he will be an exemplary apprentice, he is not exactly the nicest. He also cares the most about learning combat, and will be pushy about it if he's forced to delve too much into other skills.

Name: Coyotebite
Activity level: Active/Casual
What kind of mentor would they be?: Coyotebite expects the best out of each of her apprentices. Once she figures out how each apprentice learns best, she will do her best to adapt to their learning styles to teach them best. Coyotebite will push each one of her apprentices to their limits and will expect them to show improvement by the end of their apprenticeship. While not present to be friends with her apprentices, she will do her best to ensure that they can trust her if they need her.

Activity level: Aiming for 15+ posts a month.
What kind of mentor would you like for them?: Someone strict and no business to counter Badgerpaw's mischievous and high energy nature. She would work well to someone who is relatable and friendly, but won't let her walk all over them. Otherwise, any available mentor would be fine: I just love the dynamic of mentors and apprentices having contrasting personalities especially when the apprentice is unruly and lazy like Badgerpaw!
Note: Short term mentorship. Badgerpaw will be a warrior around March.

what kind of mentor would they be?: frecks puts on a very silly and loud exterior, a primarily kind - hearted mentor harboring a hair - trigger temper she will quickly realize she had after begun her first mentorship. she is hard - headed and heavily clan oriented ; she has a lot of expectations for her first time training an apprentice and will be unable to hide her disappointment if it doesn't go as planned or if her apprentice isn't as into it as she will be. her first apprentice will mean a lot to her !! will project her insecurities and give them a weird " im the worst / im the best " complex, but their training will focus heavily on combat and ground hunting with a weakness in climbing. would do well with a large, heavier - set cat like herself !!

What kind of mentor would you like for them?: She's a very strong and stubborn young cat and will need a stern, tough mentor to keep her in line and push her to be her best. She learns best through hands-on teaching and likes to be kept busy with training as much as possible. She's eager to become a great warrior, ambitious and driven and would benefit from a mentor with a similar mentality.

Name: Vixenpaw

Activity level: Casual/Active - I do plan a minimum of ten posts with her a month, but likely will have more.

What kind of mentor would you like for them?: Vixenpaw is going to be a tough apprentice to get to train, but she will be persistent in her training and pick up things rather quickly. She has high expectations for herself, but she will be a brat, and an awful teenager when the days come. However! This will not get in the way of her training. Her training comes first and foremost. She will be patient and diligent, and once she's told a few things on a subject, she will more than likely assume she knows everything about it.

-

Someone that will have high expectations, and will push her harder is ideal. Also someone that will let words slide off their pelt like water, but deal with her tricky attitude accordingly. Shed be absolutely stunned if they decide to send her to the elders den as a punishment for such attitude.

What kind of mentor would they be?: Very kind and cooperative. Willing to let the Apprentice take the lead on many things and set the pace. However, she isn't a pushover, and has expectations she likes to have met. This could cause some tension with a lazy or reserved apprentice as she will often aim to get any cat out of their shell.

What kind of mentor would you like for them?: Someone who has a strong heroic, and good natured drive to influence her as a warrior and straighten out her rather rough edges.

What kind of mentor would you like for them?: any is okay with me ! i think a mentor who can keep him in line and not let him walk all over them would be best, but any dynamic could be interesting !

What kind of mentor would you like for them?: Not too picky, but someone who really pushes her to do her best, maybe who sees through her people-pleaser attitude a bit.
She has been paired with Roeflame, played by Noor! She also mentors Foxpaw so Lightpaw will be sharing her mentor!

Name: Wildheart
Activity level: Active
What kind of mentor would they be?: Wildheart would be a brutally honest mentor who has no intention of bestowing needless coddling upon his apprentice. However, he wouldn't be uncaring. In truth his apprentice will be his world, and he believes that only true honesty will help his apprentice survive the harsh truths and horrors that the world brings. He would aim to nurture his apprentice's problem solving skills, urging them to utilise their common sense when facing trouble and difficulties. Wildheart will appear to be quite the intimidating and scary mentor, but sometimes it's the terrifying teachers that prove to be the best.

Name: @antlerpaw!
Activity level: Mid-casual (around 10 posts a month is my max estimated!)
What kind of mentor would you like for them?: Antlerpaw is going to be extremely timid and fearful to start- a kind of 'dead' feeling internally, numb to the happenings. She'll eventually grow and flourish into someone with a lot of fire and determination, so someone that could shape her into a fine warrior but still be gentle in her earlier stages! I don't have any plans as to what she'll become strong in. Go bananas.

Name: @leafhusk
Activity level: casual - active (i dont do monthly limits, so i shoot for ~3 posts a week)
What kind of mentor would they be?: her skills are mostly in stealth and hunting if that matters. awkward, confused & strict. shed be unsure on how to handle an apprentice at first, but will gradually warm up. not the best with kids so expect awkward interactions and minimal bonding until they age closer to the end. not above arguing with a child.

Name: @doepaw ࿔
Activity level: estimating 15 posts/month (active)
What kind of mentor would you like for them?: Doe's exceptionally nervous in her nature and doesn't cope well with change, which unfortunately, includes training.. so it will take a lot of dragging her around to get her to actual do things. With being visually impaired, she isn't going to start off very successful with tasks that rely so much on sight since this is a new disability she hasn't adapted to, so her lack of skill may be frustrating to a potential mentor. She's quite smart though! Just doesn't ever use her wit for advancement, only ever to keep things as perfectly the same and comfortable as possible. I'm fine with any kind of mentor- more rigid mentors may have a hard time forming a relationship with her outside of 'yes sir' or 'yes ma'am' responses.

Name: Flycatcher
Activity level: active
What kind of mentor would they be?: Flycatcher is calm, patient, and reliable. He will be somewhat relaxed with his apprentice, allowing them to take things at their own pace for the most part. However, he is not a pushover and will not stand for any bad behaviour that reflects poorly on himself or the clan. He always tries to be on good terms with his apprentices wanting to be present should they begin to suffer from any difficulties.
