───── Welcome to WindClan's Wildflowers, an event to celebrate newleaf and bring a bit of a gentler tone to roleplay throughout the beginning of this season! This is a relaxed event with a focus on prosperity, unity, and new beginnings. There is a badge reward with some pretty lax qualifications, to make sure that this is something we can all enjoy without stressing too much about how many posts we can make.
Newleaf hits WindClan like a wall. The snow that had gathered in an even layer across their moorland home has melted and vanished, sinking slowly into its ground. For a few days, it's muddy going. But from then on: an explosion. Life bursts from every crevice of the moors, colors and smells that are not quite like anything WindClan has seen in its short time here. Perhaps the spilled blood nourished the roots, or maybe the sun just smiles down on them with a little bit more kindness this moon. -

01. Take it easy. This is not meant to be an event that stresses you out! Enjoy yourself first and foremost, and don't worry about hitting prompts strictly. You are allowed to bend the prompt, or take them in a direction you wouldn't expect when you first read the words. Have fun!
02. Prompts must be posted before April 1st, 2024. While there's some flexibility with time zones, this is a March event! Anything dated past 12AM April 1st, 2024, will not count towards the event badge.
03. Track your completed prompts. Use the thread tracker in the next tab, which you will be able to easily link to when the time for badge requests come!
04. All thread types are welcome. Open, private, PAFP, or oneshot threads are all okay! They should primarily be posted on the WindClan board unless your thread calls for interaction with an outsider.
As far as requirements go: you must respond to at least one milestone thread, as well as create or reply to two of the prompts in the final tab of this thread. Milestone threads will be clearly labeled in their title and announced in the WindClan server. Prompt threads can be open, private, PAFP, or oneshots, and may be of your making or a response to another person's thread. -
Please be sure to use this tracker, or a close variation of it! This is to ensure it's easy for staff members to verify prompt completion in the badge request thread.

⊱✿⊰ The wildflowers, while beautiful, seem to have attracted the attention of a group of bees. They’ve set up a hive in an abandoned burrow not far from camp and have even gone as far as to sting a couple of kits. Your character takes it upon themselves to put together a task force and deal with this problem, do they succeed or do they get stung? (Optional : roll for success!)
⊱✿⊰ “Quickly falling April showers lead to rapidly rising May flowers.” A sunny day quickly takes a turn for the worst! What is your characters solution to passing time with others on a rainy day?
⊱✿⊰ Flowers can make some beautiful decorations! Pick a place in camp (or perhaps a clanmate) and pretty it / them up !!!
⊱✿⊰ Spring cleaning time! How does your character keep things tidy? Are they sorting through old things in their nest, are they cleaning the fresh kill pile, or are they giving some bedding a refresh? Whatever it is, cleaning goes faster with a friend!
⊱✿⊰ Spring is in the air! But unfortunately, so is loads of pollen. Write about how your character reacts to this change in the air!
⊱✿⊰ Make a wish! Your character finds a dandelion, what do they wish for?
⊱✿⊰ A swarm of butterflies are passing through camp, write about how your character reacts!
⊱✿⊰ Ladybugs are symbols of luck, and one just so happens to land on your character! What endeavors are they hoping to be lucky in?
⊱✿⊰ New-leaf is notorious for being the time when all sorts of babies are being born!
If your character is a tunneler, write about them finding a clutch of snake eggs in a tunnel.
if they’re a moor runner write about them spotting a family of rabbits munching on some clovers!
⊱✿⊰ it seems the butterfly cloud has passed, but all over camp there are now beautiful wings waiting to be discovered, does your character use these wings to decorate their own pelt or do they gift them to a friend?
⊱✿⊰ Oh no! It seems like a baby lamb has managed to escape from the field at horseplace! It’s crying out for its mother who is on the other side of the fence. Do your characters help to reunite them? Write about them working together to find the hole in the fence and guide the lamb back to its home!
⊱✿⊰ With all the critters coming out of hibernation, prey is bountiful this time of year. Your character just had a successful catch (or has picked a particularly juicy piece of prey off the pile) and has decided to share with some friends! How nice!
⊱✿⊰ With the snow melted, rabbits run is now once again traversable without having to plow through snow! Your character decides to have a race with a few others. However, be careful, the snow melt has left behind a considerable amount of mud. How does your character deal with this obstacle? (Optional: get a group of cats together and roll for the winner!)
⊱✿⊰ While hunting chicks that have strayed a bit too far from their mothers at horseplace, your character runs into the rooster tasked with protecting them. Fighting something like him isn’t exactly the safest option. Do they try to dive into a tunnel or make a break for camp? (??) * (Optional : roll to see if your character can scare the rooster away!)
⊱✿⊰ Some twolegs seem to have been having a picnic out on the moors but where did they go? Who cares when they've left a whole rotisserie chicken behind! Does your character attempt to bring it back to camp or do they take a few bites for themselves? What other goodies are they able to find? (Optional : roll to see if the twolegs come back!)
⊱✿⊰ It seems your character has gotten some wildflowers tangled in their fur while out on patrol or playing in camp! Do they leave them or ask someone for help getting them out?
⊱✿⊰ Whoa! A rainbow! What’s at the end of it do you think? Write your characters thoughts. (Optional : roll for the chance of a double rainbow)
⊱✿⊰ Now that new-leaf is here, your character decides to look back at all the changes that have occurred in WindClan. Have them discuss with others! Are they hopeful for the future? Sad about the past?
⊱✿⊰ the moors aren’t the only territory experiencing change in this new season! Your character decides to stop for a chat along the border with one of our neighbors to discuss new-leaf and how it’s affecting the other clans!
⊱✿⊰ Even the dead still need some love! Your character decides to gather up some wildflowers to decorate the graves of those who have passed.
