  She isn't surprised that Figfeather answers her first. The ginger she-cat has always tumbled paws-first into any situation that might benefit her ambition, always striving for more, keener than ever to prove herself since her injury seasons ago. She would be a good deputy, however... Orangestar's eyes narrow slightly over the assertion. A kit's answer. Figfeather would grab the position with claws outstretched, but what would she pull down atop of them if those claws found purchase?

  Figfeather is a round, red tabby she-cat with orange eyes and a mangled hind leg.
  
  Figfeather is a lead warrior of SkyClan whose served under Orangestar's and Blazestar's leaderships. She was born to Daisyflight as Figkit alongside her litter-mates Greenkit, Snowkit and Violetkit. She became an apprentice as Figpaw with Tallulahwing as her mentor. One night, she snuck out to the twoleg place to meet her estranged father. Overhearing him speak poorly at the idea of having kits of his own she flees across the thunderpath where she is struck by a monster and permanently deforms her leg.
  
  Upon passing her warrior assessment she is given her warrior name, Figfeather, by Blazestar for her endurance and determination. When yellowcough plagues the Clans she volunteers to partake in the Great Journey to find the cure StarClan says is waiting for them over the mountains.
  
  When she returns home she sires Coffeekit and Sangriakit after becoming mates with Fantastream. The two breakup shortly after when Figfeather grows distracted by her ambition to become deputy. She mentored Wolfpaw and Daisydrop after Wolfpaw was taken by Twolegs.
  
  After Twitchbolt steps down as deputy, Orangestar makes Figfeather a lead warrior. Orangestar considers Figfeather for deputy after Cherryblossom proves unfit for the role, though she is passed over in favor of reinstating Twitchbolt.
  
  She momentarily mentored Oleanderpaw before her training came to an abrupt stop due to health issues. After makes the choice to Orangestar step down, Twitchstar gathers her and the lest of the lead warriors to inform them he is dismantling her council. Figfeather is displeased by his decision, but steps down into the role of a title-less warrior without argument.

  Figfeather is a bright yellow she-cat with golden tabby markings that swirl across her body. Her fur is short and framed tight against her body, showing off her slender build.
  
  She has big, perceptive, amber-orange eyes that always appear to be on surveillance with the aid of her angular ears. Prominent jowls dangle from her cheeks, rounding out the shape of her face.
  
  The center of her forehead crowns a large, white, diamond shape marking. She has a white muzzle, chest, underbelly, tail tip, and forepaws equipped with socks.
  
  Her right hind leg is wrapped in a large, discolored, bumpy scar. The leg appears unnaturally twisted and misshapen due healing improperly, though it is a testament to her strength and what she is willing to go through to survive.
  
  Technically: Red classic tabby with orange eyes.
  
  Scars gained:
  

  • Given broken leg after being ran over by a monster. Her leg never permanently healed, leaving it mangled. She walks with a permanent limp.

  Body Language
  
  

  Most days you can find Figfeather standing at the ready. She is confident of herself and unafraid to be assertive. She stands tall with her tail angled authoritatively in the air, ready to wrangle any clan-mates acting boneheaded or smart mouthed apprentices. …Not that she isn't ever capable of being both those things, herself.
  
  When Figfeather is angry even a blind newborn kitten can tell. Her whiskers grow straight and tense and the light in her eyes dim as her brows furrow. Claws begin to flex in and out of their sheathes as a striped tail gives repeated lashes to the air. If she really wants to emphasize her anger she may roll her eyes or let out a few loud huffs. She's not above stomping the ground as she storms off or straight up telling cats to eat crowfood if you somehow manage to get her really peeved… Though at that point, you're probablyyyyy deserving of it.
  
  When she feels ashamed is the only time you'll find Figfeather making herself small. The scolding of her leader will always bring a sorrowful look in her eyes. She'll drop her head down to her shoulders and lower her tail into her legs. Whiskers and ears will droop and she'll find it difficult to meet the gaze of the cat she's offended.​

• Figfeather is driven by her fierce loyalty to her Clan and a relentless determination to succeed. Her resilience shines through in her ability to overcome challenges of all shapes and sizes, be it a snarky clan-mate who turns their nose to her or the perils of a snowy mountainside. She posses a keen intelligence, often using her sharp mind to verse strategies and solve problems.
  
  However, her strengths often can also act as her weaknesses. She is a stickler for the warrior code and traditions, sometimes blindly and to a fault. Though as all living things are, she is hypocritical and may be found to break StarClan's laws, believing they'll forgive her if done with the intention to better her Clan. Her emotional nature can lead to impulsive decisions and her overbearing tendencies alienate and frustrate others. Additionally, her boastful personality can make her appear arrogant and self-centered.
  
  Despite her flaws, Figfeather is loyal to the bone and a dedicated warrior who will stop at nothing to protect her clan. Her determination and resilience make her a formidable force, even in the face of adversity.
  
  
  Intelligence
  
  Figfeather's intelligence is a defining trait. She possesses a sharp mind that allows her to quickly analyze situations and develop effective strategies. Her ability to think critically and problem-solve is evident in her leadership skills and her contributions to Clan discussions. She is often the first to spot potential dangers or opportunities. This, however, often makes her overly critical and is prone to arguments with disagreeing clan-mates.
  
  Rule stickler
  
  Figfeather holds a great amount of respect for the Warrior Code and Clan customs and expects the same from her clanmates. Respect for superiors is a must, back-talking apprentices will cast a glance for her before unleashing their tongues. Gossip that is ill-willed displeases her and she will often shut it down with stern words of disapproval. While well-meaning, it often causes her to come across as stifling or as the young cats might say, 'boring'.
  
  Ambitious
  
  Figfeather's ambition is a driving force in her life. Even as a kit, she aspired to rise high in the ranks of SkyClan, likely influenced by her mother's position as the Clan's first deputy. Her ambition is fueled by a desire for recognition and a belief in her own abilities. She is constantly striving to improve herself and prove her worth, often taking on additional responsibilities and pushing herself to her limits.
  
  Faith
  
  

  Figfeather has a deep rooted faith in StarClan instilled in her from a young age. She has witnessed firsthand the power of StarClan, having seen Blazestar die and return to life thanks to the lives StarClan had gifted him. This has reinforced her belief in their existence and the importance of following StarClan's guidance. Her faith provides her with comfort and strength in times of hardship.​

  
  Quirks
  

  • When in need of anything, Figfeather will habitually send a prayer to StarClan. Her pleads are scarcely answered but has never had any long lasting effects on her faith.
  • Figfeather is an early riser, awaking before the stars have faded from the sky. She is rarely seen up past moon-high save on nights the gathering is held.
  • After a meal, Figfeather will gnaw on remains of her prey whether it be claws, feathers or fatty/stringy bits.
• Figfeather is pansexual and monogamous. When she was young, she had fallen in love with Fantastream, but her ambition to rise SkyClan's ranks drove a wedge between them, eventually leading to them to untie tails. Her heart has began to flutter once more for her lifelong friend, Howlfire, though with Fantastream recently passing away she feels guilt for moving on.
  

  • Figfeather trusts relatively easily. Becoming her friend can be hard, maintaining that friendship even harder. Figfeather is not emotionally sensitive which makes it difficult for her to advise and comfort the cats she's closest to at their lowest. If you can forgive her for her faults… likely multiple times… you'll find that underneath that she is still a trustworthy friend.

  While she may not be the strongest warrior, Figfeather's strategic thinking and tactical prowess make her a formidable opponent. She is a master of deception, often using feints and misdirection to lure her enemies into traps. Her ability to outsmart her opponents, combined with her determination and resilience, make her a valuable asset to SkyClan in battle.
